Monster Burner is a fun, arcade style, castle defense game in which you must "throw" fireballs at the incoming monsters before they reach the bottom of your screen. The game play is smooth, the graphics are clean, and the fun factor is addicting.

As with all types of castle defense style games, the game play is your basic "kill all enemies before they reach you". But unlike a typical castle defense game, Monster Burner is more arcade like, featuring fast game play where monsters stream down from the top of the screen. Your main attack is a fireball which you summon by touching and sliding upwards on the screen. You can create larger fireballs by tapping and holding down on the screen for a few seconds before swiping up to let go of the fireball.

Complimenting the fast pace action, multi-touch is available enabling you to summon multiple fireballs at once. It's a great feature that adds to the action packed game. Each level features a rating system where the more points you acquire, the better the rating. You'll need to gain these better ratings to unlock the later levels. As you progress and collect coins, you'll need to upgrade your spells in order to tackle the later more difficult stages.

Overall, Monster Burner is a fun and addicting game which features solid game play. Touch controls work well and the fast pace action makes it a joy to play in both short bursts or longer sessions.
