Welcome to SWITCH 8, a Windows Phone 8 technology lifestyle blog.

SWITCH 8 was inspired by a switch to the Nokia Lumia 920 after using the Apple iPhone for several years. November 2012 saw the release of Windows Phone 8 and as an early adopter, the hunt for information, reviews, and thoughts from other users increases. However, there is always a lack of information during the infancy of a new product. Thus, SWITCH 8 was created.

This personal blog is dedicated to providing viewpoints from an "average user". Professional reviews are usually abound on the internet but I hope that this blog will provide visitors a place to gather input from a regular consumer, your "average user" in real world use.

SWITCH 8 is derived from Nokia's #switch hashtag to promote the Nokia Lumia 920 while "8" is in reference to the Windows Phone 8 OS.
