Camera 360 is a nice and simple photo app which gives you the ability to view real-time photos effects on-screen. These effects are your usual photo filters found in various other photo apps, just with slight variations and various "names" for the filters. However, the user interface is one selling point in using this app as it provides a very intuitive and clean layout.
First off, Camera360 loads up nice and quick and immediately takes you to the shooting view. At the bottom center is an image of a dial, similar to what you may find on an actual camera. This shooting mode dial features several preset shooting modes such as Auto, Portrait, Microspur, Night, Food, and Scenery. The selection of the modes is very intuitive as you simply swipe left or right on the dial, or you may alternatively tap on the dial itself and/or corresponding icon. When you enter one of the shooting modes, you can toggle through the different filter effects (different choicesn for each shooting mode) by simply swiping left or right on the screen. When you're happy with the filter and ready to shoot, you can activate the "shutter" by either the camera button on the phone itself or tap the camera icon located in the middle of the shooting mode dial.
Aside from the shooting mode dial, the on-screen display also has quick adjustments for exposure, front/rear camera selection, and flash settings on the left-hand side. The bottom right has a quick toggle to shoot in 1:1 format and the bottom left opens up the built-in photo viewer.
The photo viewer features a clean and solid interface which lays out your photos in chronological order. Simply swiping up loads your photos one at a time. From there you can instantly share a photo or edit it. If you'd rather view more thumbnails at once, swipe left and you're taken to the photo calendar where photos are presented in smaller thumbnails and chronologically displayed by month.
As far as actual photo editing, there is none. No brightness (aside from EV when shooting), contrast, saturation, or crop settings are given to you. Although this fact may make it seem like the app is not fully featured, the simplicity in choosing a shooting mode and applying a quick filter is a nice breath of fresh air in the sea of photo apps which give you the option of applying multiple photo settings. It lets you go out and forces you to take a bit more time composing and finding a shot, rather than relying on the many different post-processing adjustments.
Overall, Camera360 is a solid photo app that allows you to take and modify photos in a quick and simple way. It has a very intuitive user interface and makes shooting fun again with the many real-time photo filter effects.
Pros : Simple and intuitive user interface, quick loading
Cons : Lacks common post-processing adjustments such as crop, brightness, and saturation
