As a photo enthusiast, several photo apps are loaded on my phone such as Camera 360, Creative Studio, Lazy Lens, Photo Shader, and more. But as of late, I gravitate to using Fotor the most for it's solid UI, performance, and editing tools. If I had to choose just one app to keep right now, it would definitely be Fotor.
Photo apps are plenty and in all honesty, a lot of them do the same things or a handful of things that you may like. And of course there's nothing wrong with using one over the other or having a handful for certain effects. But for me, Fotor is currently the best all-around photo app which handles basic edits and photo filters in a hassle-free package.
The most important aspect that makes the app my go-to is the simple and effective user interface. Once you capture or load up a photo, the editing choices displayed on the bottom are what I feel are the most used and they're easily accessible - Crop, Rotate, FX Effects, Border, Edit, and Tilt-Shift.
If I don't feel like doing a whole bunch of editing, a simple crop and edit (brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpen) are easily accessed without having to deal with multi-menus or going through a tedious process. And conversely, if I want to add a photo filter, they're also a tap away from the start-up menu.
Once you're in the menu, you're given plenty of photo filter choices. Here, you can take your time to sort through all the different effects. If you have certain photo filters that you love, you can easily favorite them and access them instantly by clicking on the favorites icon, another great feature to make the photo editing process simple and effective. With the tilt-shift option, one thing I like about it is the ability to change the angle of the horizontal tilt-shift since most apps don't let you adjust this.
Rendering is nice and quick and just the overall feel and performance makes editing photos a breeze. I still have all the other photo apps on my phone but when it comes down to it, I opt for Fotor first and if I have some time to kill or feel extra creative I'll load up some of the other apps. But for now, Fotor is definitely a must-have photo editing app.
Pros : Great user interface and performance, simple and effective
Cons : None
