LazyLens (Version 1.9)
Capsule Digital
Free
There's no question that there are a handful of these photo filter apps available and LazyLens can be added to that growing list. It provides you the option of applying several different filters to your photograph in a simple and effective user interface and if you're a fan of this style, LazyLens is certainly one of the better ones out there.
Aside from the usual crop, tilt-shift, contrast, brightness, saturation, and auto-fix adjustments, you can post-process your image even further. There are 23 preset filter effects which you can choose from and from there you can further process the image by selecting from 12 different frame effects, 8 texture effects, 7 light effects, and 6 vignette effects.
The overall user interface is very simple and relatively easy to use. Going back and adding more effects could be a little more intuitive however since pressing "back" too much will reset the processing you've performed. Photo loading is nice and quick and choosing a preset filter effect is simply done by swiping instead of needing to go back to the list of effects like many other similar apps make you do.
After you're done playing around with the effects, you have the option of saving it in a smaller 720x480 resolution photo or you can hit the "HD" button and save it as a 1500x1000 resolution photo. Rendering is quick as is saving. LazyLens may be just another photo filter app but it does it well and is worth taking a look at, if this is your type of thing that is.
Pros : Simple UI, quick rendering and processing, lots of options
Cons : Applying multiple effects may be a bit confusing
