3D Brutal Chase is an arcade style car game where you take control of a police car and your main objective is to "crash" into enemy cars until they become "busted." It's a rather simple concept but in short doses can provide some mindless, yet entertaining fun.

You're provided with a few select cities within the United States to start off in, such as New York or San Francisco and each city provides a handful of stages to participate in. Depending on the location, your surrounding scenery will change, but that's about it. The course seems pretty random as you keep driving forward. The road does provide more than a few turns with elevation changes as well as different filler cars that block your route as you locate and ram into the select enemy cars.

The controls are mainly based on tilt and works surprisingly well. Acceleration is automatic and the only other controls provided are brake and turbo, making this a simple game to pick up and play. As you drive along the stretch of road you pick up credits which you can use later on to upgrade different parts of your car such as handling, damage power, turbo, etc. Ramming into enemy cars and eventually "busting" them up will earn you extra credits, but hitting any other car will subtract them. The angle and speed at which you hit the enemy cars will determine how many credits you earn. For each stage there is a certain number of enemy cars which you must "bust" up in order to advance to the next stage.

Aside from parts upgrades you can also purchase different police cars as well. Due to the variety of locations, cars, and upgrades, this game can provides lots of replay value if you're the type to want to complete everything in a game.

At this point, I've only played about ten stages each for the two cities available but generally speaking the game is great, mindless, arcade fun. It can get a bit repetitive but it's definitely entertaining in short bursts. Decent graphics, smooth frame rate, solid controls and game play make 3D Brutal Chase a good addition to your game collection.
